This year, Canadians will be honouring Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, on September 30th. This is a day for honouring the victims and survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities.
Compass employees will be taking some time to read, learn, and reflect in the spirit of the day. We encourage all to do the same, and to wear orange in honour of all those impacted by Canada’s Residential School system and other Canadian policies that have deeply harmed Indigenous peoples and cultures in innumerable ways, and continue to do so.
